Here is what six terms of completion data showed.<\/p>\n<p>Re-watching feels like studying. It is the most comfortable thing you can do with a course and the least useful: you recognise the material the second time and mistake recognition for recall. Writing while the lesson plays forces you to compress, and compression is where the learning happens.<\/p>\n<p>We compared two cohorts on the same interface course. The group asked to keep a running notes file finished a median of thirteen days sooner and scored higher on the first review round. The notes themselves were mostly rough.
