The most valuable thing an adviser does is occasionally nothing. That is harder to charge for and harder to sit through.

Every household heard from their adviser inside the first week. In the overwhelming majority of cases the recommendation was to rebalance, harvest losses where they cleared the wash-sale rules, and change nothing else.
