Talk to the people who sail the boats
The office answers between 07:00 and 19:00, seven days a week in season. Send a note and a skipper writes back the same day.
Springfield, CA
Asked before every booking
Do I need any sailing experience?
None at all. Every charter is crewed, so the skipper handles the boat from the moment you step aboard. If you want to steer or trim, say so at the safety brief and you will be doing both within the hour.
What happens if the weather turns?
We make the call twenty-four hours before departure. You will either be confirmed, offered another date, or cancelled outright. Cancelled sailings are not charged and any deposit is released the same day.
Can I bring food and drink aboard?
Yes, and there is a cold locker for it. Glass is fine everywhere except the foredeck. Full-day and overnight charters already include provisioning, so tell us about allergies when you book.
Are children welcome?
From age four upwards. We carry child lifejackets in four sizes and harness points in the cockpit. Let us know ages when booking so the right kit is aboard before you arrive.
How far in advance should I book?
Two to three weeks between June and September, a few days outside that. Sunset sails on Fridays and Saturdays fill first, usually a month out.
Where exactly do we meet?
Dock C at Springfield Harbour, at the gate beside the fuel berth. Parking is free for charter guests. Arrive fifteen minutes before your slot so the brief does not eat your sailing time.
