We leave about two hours before sunset, motor out past the harbour wall and then cut the engine. From there it is whatever the evening breeze gives us — usually enough to ghost along at three or four knots with the sun going down over the headland.
The boat is set up for sitting still and looking at things rather than racing anywhere. Cushions in the cockpit, a cold locker, and deck lights on for the run home. It is the charter we book most often for anniversaries, and the one our own skippers take their families on.
