The weather call is made twenty-four hours out. Here is the threshold, and what it costs you when we get it wrong.
We cancel above twenty-five knots sustained, or when the sea state makes the passage unpleasant rather than unsafe. Somewhere between those two there is a judgement call, and it is made by the skipper who would be taking you out, not by the office.
A cancelled sailing is not charged and the deposit is released the same day. If we can move you, we will offer the nearest slot on a boat of the same size before anyone else sees it.
