Half of the stress in a cat’s veterinary visit happens before anyone touches them: the car, the carrier, the corridor full of dogs.
On Wednesday and Friday mornings there are no dogs in the building at all. The cat wing has its own entrance, its own ward and its own waiting area, with pheromone diffusers running and the radio off.
Where we can, the examination happens in the base of your carrier with the top removed. Restraint is the last resort, not the first — and if a cat needs a second visit rather than a fight, that is what we book.
