Every pass records wind speed, heading, nozzle state and position, second by second.
That log exists for our own operating certificate, but it earns its keep the first time a neighbour asks a question. Rather than a conversation about what probably happened, there is a file showing which nozzles were open, where the aircraft was, and what the wind was doing at the time.
We send it before it is asked for. It has never once made a situation worse.
